Now one report claims that Apple is working on big changes for these products too, but it probably won't come until next year.
The New York Times' David Pogue reports hearing from an executive at Apple that there are "new models and new designs" in the works for the iMac and Mac Pro, which will likely be released in 2013.
The message behind this statement from an anonymous Apple exec seems clear: Apple isn't giving up on the desktop yet.
