Pharma company bringing 200-plus jobs to River Ridge

A pharmaceutical benefit management company has announced plans to locate in Jeffersonville?s River Ridge Commerce Center.

According to The News & Tribune, Lisle, Ill.-based Catamaran Corp. (NASDAQ: CTRX) will bring more than 200 jobs at an average salary of $50,000.

The company plans to build a facility to employ pharmacists, technicians, call-center personnel and more. Plans call for constructing a 75,000-square-foot building on 12 acres, two parcels north of the Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) fulfillment center, with an additional 75,000 square feet available for future expansion.
