Harrisburg school, city hall having heating issues - abc27 WHTM

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Workers at the Harrisburg City Government Center and some student at Harrisburg High School were dealing with heating issues Wednesday morning.

Frozen pipes in the high school building were causing the outermost classrooms on the first floor to be colder than normal, according to Principal Eugene Spells. This area of the building houses the school's special education classrooms and the affected students were sent home for the day.

Down at City Hall, the heating system began malfunctioning around 11:15 a.m. according to workers in the building. Mayoral spokesperson Bob Philbin said crews came in to make repairs and restored the heat by 12:30 p.m.
